Church Road Winery

One of the three oldest wineries in the Hawke’s Bay, the multi award winning Church Road was founded in 1897. Church Road offers winery tours, cellar door sales and tastings. Some of its most illustrious years were spent under the leadership of pioneer winemaker Tom McDonald, now widely acknowledged as the father of quality New Zealand red wines. This boutique winery situated just minutes from Havelock North village is one of Hawke’s Bay’s finest. Their award winning whites include Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
